These girls make me smile

Well in the spirit of my good friend Leah's Blogs "Thankful Thursdays" I thought I would post some pictures of my three precious girls whom I am extremely thankful for! Their arrivals were not all planned and parenthood has not always been what I expected, but I see how the Lord has not only used them to brighten mine and Nick's lives, but to change us to be more like Him! So I am truly blessed to have...

Nia-My oldest, beautiful from the day she was born, smart, funny, inquisitive (always full of random deep questions I have trouble answering!), talkative to anyone who will listen, caring, and fun 4 year old.

Emilia-My big brown eyed sweetie, most mischievous, hilarious, fun, pensive, spices up our lives, loving, and affectionate 2 year old.

And my surprise gift Rosie- the biggest, happiest, smiley, sweet, wonderful, and cuddly 10 month old ever.

I love these girls!

And here's some random kid shots of the girls playing with shaving cream...loads of fun by the way and a great way for Nia to practice writing her letters! also threw in one of my usually sweet Rosie making a rather mischievous face. Love these girls!

Project: Frames

I'm finally posting! A miracle has occurred! So I've been dying to get some frames for my living room forever and lo and behold when I was out garage sale-ing I found these fab antique frames...they needed a little love and some elbow grease, but I think they turned out perfect...judge for yourself!

couldn't get the bottom pic to turn around...but you get the idea anyway!

Preschool

Nia is doing so well with preschool this year. We are working on letter and number recognition...so far we have 123 and ABCD down. She is also doing a lot of memorization. Here she is tracing C's in corn meal.

Pretty Rosie!

Rosie is getting bigger and bigger! She weighed in at 17 lbs. yesterday! Here's a little video (Grandpa and Grandma!) to see how big she is getting.

Finally finished!

I picked up this dresser for Nia's room a few months back. It's an antique and the finish was old and worn so I repainted it. It also had gorgeous pulls that somehow dissapeared (I'm guessing my almost 2 year old daughter had something to do with it:) so I ordered some replacements and it's finally useable! Not sure how I feel about the gold handles, but they'll age naturally and Nia's clothes will finally be off the floor!
